Job summary

Kaleidoscope is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to lead engineering activities for industrial refrigeration and gas compression projects. This role is the main technical contact, ensuring deliverables meet customer requirements and project goals on time and within scope.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 5+ years of engineering experience.
Ability to address technical problems with minimal mentorship.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Team player with willingness to learn and implement improvements.
Willingness to travel 10-15%.

Responsibilities

Develop estimates for project execution, schedules, and change orders.
Own all engineering deliverables across disciplines from inception to completion.
Review compression system design for compliance with standards and customer specs.
Interpret codes and standards (ASME, NFPA, AWS, etc.) for equipment compliance.
Review and approve customer drawings; provide design improvements to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
Lead multi-functional teams and mentor junior engineers.
