Job summary

Mars is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead the development and execution of packaging and processing solutions that support Innovation and Supply Chain initiatives. You will deliver cost-effective project scopes, equipment specifications, and technical recommendations through strong cross-functional collaboration.

Roles may be based out of Chicago, IL, or other Mars sites (Jackson, TN; Battle Creek, MI; Cary, NC).

Qualifications

• 7+ years of work experience in a comparable technical role (or 15 years in related fields).
• Strong knowledge of process, packaging, electrical, construction, and project management principles.
• Proven experience leading projects and managing teams.
• Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of packaging and processing solutions to support Innovation and Supply Chain.
• Deliver cost-effective project scopes, equipment specs, and technical recommendations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders and travel as needed (~50%).
