Job summary

MARS Incorporated is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead packaging and processing initiatives that support Innovation and Supply Chain goals. The role requires broad engineering expertise and cross‑functional collaboration across multiple sites in the US.

The position oversees project scope, equipment specs, and technical recommendations, with travel around 50%+. A strong background in Process, Packaging, Electrical, Construction and PM is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 7 years of work experience in a comparable technical position - food, beverage, pharmaceutical or related industry or 15 years of relevant technical experience.
• Working knowledge of engineering principles from the following disciplines: Process, Packaging, Electrical, Construction and Project Management.
• Experience leading and managing projects and project teams.
• Effective communication skills to convey complex and/or detailed information to a wide range of individuals and audiences with different knowledge levels.
• Ability to travel approximately 50% or more depending on project demands.

• Advancing Manufacturing and Supply Chain Capability: Lead the development and implementation of packaging, manufacturing, and process technologies that enhance reliability, efficiency, quality, and productivity across the supply chain.
• Championing Consumer, Safety, and Sustainability Priorities: Deliver safe, sustainable, and consumer-focused solutions while fostering innovation, continuous improvement, and responsible business practices.
