Job summary

Holder Construction in Conesville, OH is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Operations team on a full-time, in-person basis. The role focuses on on-site trade coordination, material management, and cost control to ensure project success.

You will read construction design documents, perform estimates, and work closely with field supervision. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in construction/engineering or 3+ years of related experience, strong communication and time management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a construction/engineering related field or 3+ years of equivalent work experience.
• Outstanding communication and time management skills, strong computer skills, and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• On site trade coordination and management; coordination of material design, fabrication, delivery and installation; interaction with field supervision; management of cost and design issues (change orders, RFI’s, document updates).
• Read and understand Construction Design Documents and Specifications.
• Perform construction cost estimates and quantity surveys for various scopes of work.
• Overall trade management and coordination; exposure to BIM.
