Job summary

Holder Construction in Conesville, OH is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Operations team on a full-time, in-person basis. The role focuses on on-site trade coordination, material management, and cost control to ensure project success.

You will read construction design documents, perform estimates, and work closely with field supervision. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in construction/engineering or 3+ years of related experience, strong communication and time management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a construction/engineering related field or 3+ years of equivalent work experience.
• Outstanding communication and time management skills, strong computer skills, and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• On site trade coordination and management; coordination of material design, fabrication, delivery and installation; interaction with field supervision; management of cost and design issues (change orders, RFI’s, document updates).
• Read and understand Construction Design Documents and Specifications.
• Perform construction cost estimates and quantity surveys for various scopes of work.
• Overall trade management and coordination; exposure to BIM.

We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our Operations team on our project team in Conesville, OH. This is a full-time, in-person position.

Key Responsibilities

• Initial responsibilities would include on site trade coordination and management, coordination of material design, fabrication, delivery and installation, ongoing interaction with field supervision, management of cost and design issues (change orders, RFI’s, document updates, etc.) and other responsibilities focused on overall project management and success.
• Read and understand Construction Design Documents and Specifications.
• Perform construction cost estimates and quantity surveys for various scopes of work.
• Overall trade management and coordination, and some level of exposure to BIM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a construction/engineering related field OR 3+ years of equivalent work experience.
• Successful candidates will also possess outstanding communication and time management skills, computer skills, and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Preferred

• Willingness to relocate as needed.
