Job summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to manage a small project or a component of a larger project on-site, applying JE Dunn processes and tools to ensure project success.

The role involves coordinating safety, quality, scheduling, cost control, and documentation, with collaboration across foremen, subcontractors and project teams. Travel and non-traditional hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 3+ years construction experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• May require periods of travel and/or relocation.
• Must be willing to work non-traditional hours to meet project needs.

Responsibilities

• Performs assigned aspects of safety and quality plans and culture.
• Coordinates with QA/QC planning to ensure quality for tasks.
• Leads the preparation of estimates for base project and change requests.
• Manages on-site activity of crew, materials and equipment.
• Prepares and disseminates project documentation and reports.
• Oversees project close-out activities and as-built documentation.
