Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in El Paso, TX is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to manage a small project or part of a larger one, applying JE Dunn processes to planning, administration and field execution.

You will lead safety and quality, coordinate QA/QC, assist with estimates and procurement, monitor on-site progress, prepare daily and weekly reports, and collaborate with foremen, subcontractors and the project team to deliver on schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 3+ years construction experience.
• Willing to work non-traditional hours and travel as needed.
• Lifts up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Manage a small project or component with oversight.
• Lead safety and quality plans and mentor others.
• Coordinate QA/QC planning with the project team.
• Prepare project schedules and manage procurement logs.
• Monitor progress with daily/weekly reports and meetings.
• Support Lean practices and self-perform opportunities.
