Job summary

VINCI Construction Grands Projets USA is seeking a Senior Project Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical and Commissioning) to lead technical and managerial support on the HRCP project in Virginia. You will coordinate with the owner, EOR, and subcontractors to drive on-site construction, approvals, RFIs, and change orders.

Qualifications include a civil engineering or related degree and 10+ years in heavy civil infrastructure, with strong MS Office skills and field leadership.

Qualifications

• : Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in heavy civil infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of construction equipment, drawings, specifications, materials and standards.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead project meetings to collect and disseminate information.
• Review technical specifications and drawings; resolve issues.
• Coordinate information between the company and the owner.
• Develop Work Plans and Procedures for on-site construction approval.
• Manage RFIs/FDCs and NCR resolutions with EOR/owner.
• Schedule and monitor program activity; liaise with suppliers.
• Create bill of materials referencing drawings and specs.
• Review quotations and cost data; monitor costs.
• Ensure accurate project charges for accounting.
• Manage subcontractors and change orders.
• Coordinate Quality Assurance inspections.
• Oversee survey operations; support company initiatives.
• Implement Safety, Health & Environmental program.
