Job summary

The Beck Group in Dallas is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join an exceptional project team. You will perform essential project management tasks including timely procurement, tracking materials and permits, pre-qualifying subcontractors, pricing change orders, and overseeing quality and punch lists under supervision.

You will coordinate drawings and schedules, maintain submittals and RFIs, support Lean principles on the project lifecycle, and mentor entry‑level engineers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years minimum of relevant construction experience.
• College graduate with relevant degree or equivalent field experience.
• Thorough understanding of project documents and local building codes.
• Experience with construction software (Excel, Procore, Bluebeam, Egnyte, CMiC, Revit) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and understand construction drawings, specs, and project documents.
• Assemble monthly reports, the Zero Accident plan, and the Quality Assurance plan.
• Develop and maintain Submittals, Drawings, Specifications, and RFI logs.
• Assist the project team in updating the construction schedule and weekly updates.
• Assist in coordination and sequencing of utility line locates.
• Apply Lean Principles throughout the project lifecycle; support daily huddles and pull-planning.
• Involved with closeout, delivery of required documents, and project completion report.
