Job summary

Performance Contracting Group is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for its San Diego 751 operations based in San Diego, CA.

You will lead the planning, coordination, execution, and closeout of interior systems projects, overseeing project controls, client and field communication, subcontractor coordination, change management, procurement, scheduling, and financial performance to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of construction project management experience.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Team-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day administration of projects from turnover through closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules with PMs, supers, and foremen.
• Prepare RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and closeout docs.
• Track costs, forecasts, and variance analysis to protect budget.
• Coordinate procurement of materials and subcontractor activities.
• Communicate project status and risks to management.
