Job summary

W3Global seeks a Senior Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager for a growing land development engineering firm in Southwest Florida. This is an opportunity to move beyond production design and assume increasing project leadership with a clear path toward a Project Manager role.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
EI/EIT certification required or in progress.
Ability to obtain PE licensure within approximately 6 months.
Strong proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and site design.
Experience with grading, drainage/stormwater design, utilities, and land development permitting.

Responsibilities

Manage land development projects from planning through permitting and design completion.
Lead site civil design efforts including grading, drainage, utilities, and roadways.
Prepare and review engineering plans and construction documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Coordinate with municipalities, utility agencies, and regulatory authorities.
Prepare permit applications and supporting documentation; serve as primary client contact.
Monitor schedules, budgets, and deliverables; mentor junior staff and oversee EITs/CAD designers.
Support business development and client growth initiatives.
