Job summary

Langan Engineering & Environmental Services seeks a Senior Project Manager – Civil Engineering to lead design, permitting, and client management for land development projects in West Palm Beach, FL. The role involves cross‑functional collaboration with leadership on premier projects and opportunities to drive growth.

Ideal candidates will have a PE license, 10+ years of relevant site/civil experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D, along with strong communication and proposal-writing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 10+ years of site/civil engineering experience with land development focus.
• Professional Engineering license (PE) required.
• Site/civil experience on varied project sites from concept through completion.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or Civil 3D preferred.
• Active participation in professional organizations preferred.
• Experience in technical and proposal writing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Design and permit residential, institutional, commercial centers, warehouses, and mixed‑use projects for public and private clients.
• Collaborate with office leadership to develop growth plans and optimize staff utilization.
• Lead business development activities by cultivating new clients and maintaining relationships with existing clients.
• Lead site/civil efforts on diverse project sites from concept through completion, including layout, grading, drainage, and infrastructure.
• Oversee storm water management design, hydrologic/hydraulic analysis, and SWPPP preparation.
• Integrate geotechnical and environmental considerations into land development engineering.
• Perform additional duties as requested.
