Job summary

HNTB is seeking an experienced engineer to lead the planning and delivery of design calculations, technical reports, and drawings for diverse infrastructure projects. You will collaborate with project managers, mentor junior staff, and address design issues to meet schedules and budgets.

The role involves coordinating across disciplines, supporting proposal development, and ensuring high-quality deliverables for clients nationwide. Visa sponsorship is available in some cases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with six years of relevant experience as a baseline option.
• Master’s or PhD in Engineering provide additional qualification pathways.

Responsibilities

• Plan and distribute discipline-specific work, ensuring schedule and budget adherence.
• Assist in marketing responsibilities, including proposal generation.
• Develop scope of work and level of effort for projects within the discipline.
• Oversee completeness and accuracy of the project team’s work and mentor staff.
• Coordinate technical aspects with client counterparts and teaming partners.
• Collaborate with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
