Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Construction Management Engineer to support planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects for Instrumentation & Controls and Network infrastructure systems. You will work with engineering teams, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget, supporting commissioning and facility turnover.

Required: Engineering degree and 2–3 years in large construction projects; strong coordination, drawing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical or related).
• 2–3 years of experience coordinating large commercial construction projects (semiconductor or datacenter a plus).
• Experience coordinating engineering construction, contractors and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, field issue resolution.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and project management tools; ability to create JIRA trackers.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction activities for assigned projects.
• Review engineering drawings, RFIs, and submittals.
• Coordinate with contractors and cross-functional teams.
• Support Instrumentation & Controls and/or Network installations.
• Oversee cable routing, fiber/copper infrastructure, and system integration.
• Support commissioning, testing, and project turnover.
• Resolve field engineering and construction issues.
• Track project schedule, quality, safety, and cost.
• Identify process improvements and drive execution efficiency.
