Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer in Washington or able to obtain licensure within 6 months.
• Extensive transportation engineering experience including highway design, construction, and surveying.
• Experience leading projects through planning, environmental review, design, and construction.

Responsibilities

• Plan budget, schedule, and workforce for Capital Improvement and Preservation Program (CIPP).
• Lead an office of engineers/technicians, interns, and consultants in design and contract development.
• Ensure projects meet WSDOT standards, scope, schedule, and budget with sound engineering judgment.
• Coordinate with agencies and stakeholders to plan, build, and maintain transportation systems.
• Certify designs with PE stamp and ensure compliance with policies during construction.
