Job summary

Clear Concepts, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for a major I-95 widening project in the Savannah, GA area. You will lead the engineering scope, manage submittals, RFIs, cost reports, and schedules, coordinating with DOT and designers.

This role offers a multiyear path to Project Manager, team mentorship, a company vehicle, bonus potential, and strong benefits. Relocation is welcome for Savannah-based professionals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project engineering on heavy civil highway/bridge/DOT projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Hands-on with submittals, RFIs, quantities, cost reports and change orders.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office.
• Bridge/DOT experience is a plus; EIT/PE is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Run submittals and RFIs from start to closeout.
• Build and maintain quantity takeoffs, project logs and pay apps.
• Track cost against budget and prepare monthly cost reports and forecasts.
• Build and update the project schedule in Primavera P6 with the field team.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and material deliveries.
• Work with owner, DOT inspectors and design engineers on change orders and field issues.
• Read and interpret plans, specs, traffic control and environmental requirements.
• Mentor the project and field engineers on the team.
• Support the PM and Superintendent with real-time field insights on bridge and roadway work.
