Job summary

Omega Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer 3 to support ongoing operations in Los Alamos, NM. This role supervises the engineering activity on a project and directs assignments to ensure the technical path forward while maintaining security compliance.

You will coordinate multidisciplinary design work, manage submittals and RFIs, perform cost tracking, and mentor junior engineers, all within a DOE/DoD security framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline.
• US Citizenship with DOE security clearance eligibility.
• 10+ years of project engineering experience in high-security/government-adjacent facilities.
• Hands-on experience with ProjectSight, Delta, Aproove, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to coordinate diverse stakeholders under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate security and infrastructure design interfaces across disciplines.
• Review drawings and designs using Aproove for review and approval.
• Conduct constructability reviews for high-security requirements.
• Manage engineering changes, RFIs, and design revisions.
• Lead coordination with designers of record, subcontractors, and operations.
• Track scheduling milestones and ensure quality control on-site.
