Job summary

Ilocatum in Naples, FL seeks a Senior Project Engineer for FDOT roadway and bridge work. You’ll oversee technical and commercial aspects from RFIs to subcontractor management, cost tracking and monthly forecasts.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in heavy civil, FDOT experience, a B.S. in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, and proficiency in Primavera P6 and Excel. Florida PE is a plus, relocation welcome.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project engineering on heavy civil, highway or bridge work.
• FDOT project experience.
• Based in Southwest Florida or willing to relocate to the Naples area.
• Strong with RFIs, subcontractor management, change orders, quantities and cost tracking.

Responsibilities

• Run RFIs, submittals and technical coordination with the owner, Engineer of Record and field team.
• Build and update the project schedule in Primavera P6.
• Track quantities, cost against bid and monthly forecasts.
• Manage subcontractors, their contracts and change orders.
• Review plans, specifications and shop drawings for contract and FDOT conformance.
• Support monthly pay estimates, billing and cash flow.
• Coordinate survey, quality control and quality assurance inspections.
• Lead project meetings with foremen, subcontractors and owner representatives.
