Job summary

Shoreline CPM Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support project managers by owning defined project controls and engineering tasks across the lifecycle.

You will focus on cost management, forecasting, change order review, and project documentation to drive sound decisions. The role requires strong organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to successful delivery of construction projects in the San Diego area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, business administration, architecture or engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction project engineering or project management.
• Working knowledge of construction documents, contracts, change orders, and pay applications.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate communication among project stakeholders, including administrators, architects, engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Prepare and distribute regular project updates, reports, and meeting minutes.
• Assist in developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, budgets, and supporting documentation.
• Compile and update project and program forecasts and cash flow using inputs from multiple parties.
• Review change orders and pay applications for cost accuracy and conformance with contract requirements.
• Promote a culture of safety and follow Shoreline's safety program on project sites.
• Travel to various construction sites within the San Diego, CA area.
