Job summary
Hydrite Chemical Co. is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead capital projects for the Laurens, SC greenfield facility from front-end engineering through startup and ongoing operations, establishing reliability foundations.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in chemical or mechanical engineering.
- Minimum eight years in process or project engineering in chemical processing.
- Five years of direct technical management experience with contractors.
- Experience with greenfield projects, expansions, or startups.
- Strong communication and English proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead capital projects from design through start-up at Laurens site.
- Coordinate with corporate engineering, construction teams, and contractors.
- Develop site standards, engineering practices, and docs (P&IDs, specs, procedures).
- Drive commissioning and start-up, troubleshooting, and validation.
- Provide daily engineering support to operations and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
