Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 5+ years of experience, or an equivalent combination.
Knowledge of engineering principles related to food processing and meat industry preferred.
Ability to apply engineering principles to operational and design issues.
Proficient in AutoCAD and able to interpret installation schedules.
Willingness to travel up to 50% for project deployments.

Responsibilities

Develop engineering designs, material specs, and project cost estimates.
Review submissions for accuracy and compliance; coordinate with vendors and plant teams.
Direct vendors and contractors on layout planning and utility requirements.
Maintain documentation including manuals, drawings, specs, and vendor contacts.
Prepare proposals, evaluate bids, and monitor installations to meet specs, budgets, and timelines.
Manage project budgets and provide regular status reports to management.
