Job summary

Accounting Search is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for a major FDOT roadway and bridge infrastructure project in Orlando, FL. The role requires connecting technical execution with on-site realities, managing RFIs, subcontractors, and cost control on large-scale infrastructure.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in civil infrastructure project engineering, familiarity with CIP walls, FDOT standards, and PM software like Procore or Primavera.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of civil infrastructure project engineering/construction management.
• Experience on large infrastructure projects $50M+.
• Experience with CIP walls (retaining, MSE, sound, bridge approach, wing walls).
• FDOT standards knowledge, plans interpretation, QC requirements.
• RFIs, coordination with subcontractors, change orders experience.
• Cost estimating, quantity tracking, and financial analysis on large-scale work.
• Procore, Primavera or similar PM software proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support project meetings with owners, foremen, contractors, supervisors, and internal teams.
• Coordinate technical information between project team, owner, EOR, subcontractors, and field leadership.
• Manage RFIs and Non-Conformance Report resolution.
• Review specs, drawings, and project details for contract conformance.
• Coordinate CIP concrete wall work and related wall types.
• Support layout, reinforcing steel coordination, formwork, concrete placement, and curing activities.
• Schedule and monitor construction activities for large-scale infrastructure.
