Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC in Orlando, FL, seeks a Senior Project Engineer for a major FDOT roadway and bridge project. You will connect technical work with field execution, leading technical coordination, RFIs, and cost/schedule control.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years on large civil projects, familiarity with FDOT standards, and experience with CIP walls, retaining and MSE walls, and bridge approaches. This is a direct-hire role with benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of civil infrastructure project engineering and/or construction management experience.
• Experience on large infrastructure projects valued at $50M+.
• Experience with CIP concrete walls (retaining, MSE, sound, bridge approach, wing walls).
• Working knowledge of FDOT standards, specifications, and QC requirements.
• Ability to interpret FDOT plans, shop drawings, and technical details.
• Experience with RFIs, coordination, change orders, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support project meetings with owners, foremen, contractors, and internal teams.
• Coordinate technical information between project team, owner, EOR, subcontractors, and field leadership.
• Manage RFIs and coordinate NCR resolution.
• Review specs, plans, shop drawings for contract conformance.
• Coordinate CIP concrete wall work and related walls.
• Support layout, reinforcement coordination, formwork, concreting, curing.
• Schedule and monitor construction activities on large-scale work.
