Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a Senior Project Engineer (BESS) in Austin, Texas. This on-site role involves owning projects end-to-end for energy storage and EMS, coordinating design through commissioning, and delivering technically hands-on leadership.

You will lead the technical delivery, develop control logic and software features, and collaborate with controls, electrical, and commissioning teams to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering energy storage or grid-connected power projects.
• Background in electrical, controls, or power systems engineering.
• Hands-on experience with energy management systems and control logic.
• Experience with model-based systems or controls engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of energy storage and EMS projects, coordinating design, installation, and commissioning.
• Develop and implement control logic and software features.
• Install and commission software, hardware, and controls equipment remotely and on-site.
• Work directly with customers on requirements, reviews, and project planning.
