Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking an accomplished Project Engineer to manage engineering projects from conception to completion in a hybrid environment at the Arvada, CO location. You will coordinate teams across disciplines, maintain schedules, budgets and quality, and lead client communications and technical reviews.

The role requires 4–10 years of experience, a Bachelor's in Engineering, and the ability to drive project plans and timelines while ensuring alignment with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 4–10 years of project engineering experience in a similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• PE Registration is preferred but not required.
• Demonstrate knowledge in energy industry experience.
• Ability to coordinate workflow with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Integrate all disciplines to align technical and commercial aspects.
• Ensure design deliverables meet project scope and design basis.
• Collaborate with Project Controls on scheduling, estimating and cost management.
• Maintain accurate project documentation with document control.
• Lead design development meetings including constructability reviews and 3D model reviews.
• Coordinate preparation, review and approval of engineering design reports.
• Act as responsible engineer within professional registration for projects led.
• Review equipment technical bid submissions and report to Project Manager.
