Cumming Group in Monterey Park, CA is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support bond-funded education projects across school districts. This role offers a collaborative environment where you will work with PMO and District FPD teams to ensure timely processing of change orders, RFIs, and submittals while maintaining thorough logs and reports.

You will need a BS/BA in engineering or related field and at least seven years of construction experience, with proficiency in MS Office, SharePoint,

Qualifications

• BS/BA Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum seven years of professional construction experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and SharePoint; experience with Bluebeam and Adobe software for document reviews.
• Experience with Change Orders and supporting documentation is preferred.
• Experience with educational projects preferred.
• Experience with PMIS systems such as Prolog, Unity Construct, or Proliance is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Provides technical and administrative support for the PMO Construction department and the District FP...
• Track RFIs and submittals during design, pre-bid and construction phases.
• Perform internal reviews of change orders, field orders, and other contractual documents.
• Coordinate with PMO staff and District FPD on review/processing of change orders.
• Maintain Change Order Logs and other tracking documents.
• Prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly reports for management review.
• Generate and distribute meeting minutes to confirm discussions.
