Job summary

Clayco is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead design-build projects from site-based inception through closeout. You will oversee teams of architects, engineers, and planners, ensuring safe, on-time delivery for projects ranging from $60 million to over $250 million across North America.

Responsibilities include preconstruction involvement, contract buyouts, and full project execution. A strong safety culture and leadership of PM staff are essential in this fast-paced role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related.
• 10–15 years of experience managing construction projects (50M+), ideally design-build.
• Strong project safety record and commitment to safety and quality.
• Experience with set-up, budget planning, buyout, and cost reporting.
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction principles, practices, and technology.
• Previous experience leading a successful project management team.

Responsibilities

• Build client and subcontractor relationships.
• Team with Architects, Engineers, and Planners to create and manage a design schedule.
• Establish project forecasts and budgets.
• Manage costs.
• Accept full responsibility for project execution.
• Mentor and develop project management staff.
