Job summary

Mars Snacking North America is seeking a Regional Project Engineer to lead control systems and digital automation projects across multiple sites in the United States. The role involves ideation through closure, with up to 50% travel for capital initiatives in electrical, controls, and Factory IT domains.

The ideal candidate will have 5–10+ years in a related technical role, a Bachelor’s in engineering, and may hold MBA or PMP certification.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical or related engineering field.
• 5–10+ years in a comparable technical role in food, beverage, pharma or related industry.
• Understanding of processes: electrical, controls, packaging, automation and/or computer services.
• Travel up to 50% as project needs dictate.
• Preferred: MBA or PMP and additional engineering discipline training.

Responsibilities

• Develop control systems for automating manufacturing processes.
• Lead projects to deliver scope, on time and within budget.
• Design control concepts and specifications for equipment and systems.
• Direct electrical, control, Factory IT, automation and digital plant work.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to meet goals and standards.
