Mars Snacking North America is seeking a Regional Project Engineer to lead and execute capital projects across electrical, controls, and digital plant technology domains. You will drive project delivery from ideation to closure, coordinating with cross-functional teams while maintaining scope, schedule, and budget across multiple sites in the US.

The role requires a strong engineering foundation, 5–10+ years of related experience, and up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, chemical, or related engineering.
5–10+ years of experience in a comparable technical position.
Understanding of engineering disciplines: Process, Packaging, Electrical, Controls, Automation.
In-depth understanding of designated functional engineering area of expertise.
Up to 50% travel requirement depending on project demands.

Responsibilities

Develop control systems for automating manufacturing processes and packaging systems.
Deliver projects to the business that provide a competitive advantage.
Control systems design including concepts, specifications, and equipment.
Direct modifications, installation, and integration of systems (electrical, power, control systems, Factory IT, automation).
Ensure delivery of objectives for scope, time, budget, and cash flow.
Maintain adherence to scope, deliverables, and critical success factors.
Communicate with the project steering team to achieve objectives.
Apply technologies to gain competitive advantage.
Support safety, security and environmental policies.
Plan and lead cross-functional project activities.
