Job summary

Baker Concrete Construction, Inc is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support field activities and assist the Project Manager on project administration across multiple small to medium projects. The role may include supervising support functions such as Document Control, QA/QC, and scheduling.

The position emphasizes safe operations, collaboration with diverse teams, and responsible resource management to drive project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4 years' construction experience, or 8 years' related experience.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Basic understanding of Primavera and Timberline.
• Ability to understand, customize and modify spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Supports Project Manager on cost and schedule management.
• Submits and/or approves monthly billings and earned value reports.
• Develops critical path schedules for one project or multiple projects.
• Analyzes targets, job cost summaries, and other reports.
• Reviews and negotiates change orders with the Superintendent/PM.
• Supports procurement and field purchase orders.
• Assesses project financial performance and participates in reviews.
• Overssees QA/QC and safety-related activities.
