Job summary

Baker Construction is a leading specialty concrete contractor seeking a Project Engineer to support field activities and assist the Project Manager across multiple projects. The role emphasizes project administration, cost control, scheduling, procurement, and safety compliance for complex construction initiatives.

You will work with diverse teams, generate monthly financial reports, manage change orders, and help ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years' construction experience or 6 years' construction-related experience
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Generates and obtains approvals of monthly billing and earned values
• Develops and manages the project schedule on small to mid-sized projects
• Analyzes targets and goals, job cost summaries, and other reports
• Alerts the Superintendent and Project Manager of project impact related to resource management
