Job summary

Baker Construction is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support field activities and assist the Project Manager with project administration on multiple projects. You’ll act as the go-to person and may supervise support teams in document control, QA/QC, scheduling, and cost control.

You will collaborate across teams to affect positive change, review change orders, analyze financial performance, and help ensure safety on site while supporting project engineering and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with 4 years of construction experience, or 8 years of related experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Basic understanding of Primavera and Timberline construction software.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager on cost and schedule management.
• Submit and/or approve monthly billings and earned value reports.
• Develop critical path project schedules for medium to large projects.
• Review and negotiate change orders with the Project Manager.
• Oversee procurement and field purchase orders.
• Ensure a safe work environment.
