Baker Construction seeks a Senior Project Engineer to support field activities and assist the Project Manager on multiple projects. The role acts as the go-to person for admin tasks, with potential supervisory duties over QA/QC, scheduling, and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction or related field and 4 years’ experience, or 8 years’ construction experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Understanding of construction software Primavera and Timberline.
• Ability to create and modify spreadsheets and analyze data.

Responsibilities

• Supports Project Manager on cost and schedule management including monthly billings and schedules.
• Develops critical path schedules for projects and tracks progress against goals.
• Reviews change orders, cost reports, and financial performance with the team.
• Oversees procurement, field purchases, and coordination with Superintendents.
• Mentors and supports project staff and ensures safety practices.
