Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our PM/CM team in Cortlandt Manor, NY. You’ll provide on-site project management, coordinate trades and design staff, and support the Senior Project Manager with RFIs, contract documents, forecasts and payments.

You’ll monitor QA/QC, safety and project progress on multiple fast-moving projects, ensuring work aligns with client standards and contract requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture or construction field.
• 10+ years of experience on large building or civil projects above $10M.
• Knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, delivery systems and components.
• Experience or training in inspecting large scale building construction projects.
• Knowledge of Uniform Building Code.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, CPM schedules, MS Project and P6.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site project management support to help reduce costs and add value while meeting client standards.
• Coordinate progression of trades and design-field staff on active projects.
• Track RFIs, review contract documents, forecast costs and prepare change orders.
• Review payments and assist PM/EIC with payment applications.
• Write meeting minutes and prepare regular project reports; perform field inspections as required.
