Job summary

Performance Contracting Group in Raleigh, NC is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to lead project management and coordination on Raleigh-531 projects. You will oversee labor control, submittals, takeoffs, and schedules with field supervision.

The role requires 4-7 years of construction project experience, strong communication, reading specs, and teamwork. Travel may be required; safety-sensitive position; visa sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

• Must have 4-7 years' experience managing construction projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (e.g., Excel, Word).
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance.
• Prepare RFI's and submittals.
• Quantitative takeoffs to verify estimates, order materials, and price change orders.
• Create and implement job schedules and coordinate with field supervisors and foremen.
• Create and manage punch lists and job closeout documentation.
• Support the QA/QC program as part of safety and quality measures.
• Assist in other duties as assigned.
