Job summary

Performance Contracting Group in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for the Raleigh-531 operations based in Raleigh, NC. You will lead labor control, prepare RFIs/submittals, perform takeoffs, and coordinate schedules with field supervisors to ensure projects stay on track.

This safety-sensitive role requires 4–7 years of construction project management, strong communication skills, and teamwork. Visa sponsorship is not available; local relocation may be preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have 4–7 years’ experience managing construction projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance.
• Prepare RFIs and submittals.
• Quantitative takeoffs to verify estimates, order materials, and price change orders.
• Create and implement job schedules and coordinate with field supervisors and foremen.
• Create and manage punch lists and job closeout documentation.
• Support QA/QC measures in the program.
• Assist in other duties as assigned.
