Job summary

DPR Construction in the United States (VA region) is seeking a construction professional to facilitate successful delivery of projects. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, review drawings, support scheduling and cost controls, and mentor less experienced staff to ensure safety and quality.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related fields, with 4–6 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, a related field, or equivalent experience required.
• 4 - 6 years of experience in construction engineering, project engineering, or a related field required.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred. OSHA 30 program completion within 6 months of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Reviews moderately complex technical aspects of construction projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality benchmarks, while maintaining field presence to support safe execution.
• Coordinates with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to resolve moderately complex technical challenges and maintain project progress.
• Reviews and provides feedback on construction drawings, submittals, and change orders for accuracy and alignment with project goals.
• Supports project controls including schedule tracking and cost monitoring to support timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Prepares and presents progress reports and technical documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Identifies and mitigates risks on projects through field analysis and engineering solutions.
• Supports less experienced team members in resolving moderately complex project issues and provides technical expertise on safety and quality standards.
