Job summary

Jacobs in Cortlandt Manor, NY seeks a Senior Project Engineer to lead site-based project management for large-scale construction programs. You will coordinate trades, review documents, track RFIs, and monitor QA/QC, safety and costs to deliver on client standards.

This role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering/Architecture/Construction, 10+ years of experience on projects >$10M and knowledge of pre-design, pre-construction, and scheduling tools such as MS Project and P6.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in engineering/architecture/construction field.
• 10+ years experience on large building or civil projects valued above $10 million.
• Knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, delivery systems, and components.
• Experience or training in inspecting large scale building construction.
• Knowledgeable with Uniform Building Code.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Microsoft Office, CPM schedules, MS Project and P6 knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective, skilled project management to help reduce costs and add value by applying proven PM techniques.
• Coordinate progression of trades and design-field staff on active projects.
• Track RFIs, review contract documents, forecast and cost scheduling, and review of payments.
• Assist PM, EIC with payment applications and meeting minutes.
• Ensure QA/QC compliance and project safety and security requirements.
