Job summary

Orders Construction Company in West Virginia and Virginia is seeking a team-oriented Project Engineer to support operations in our WV and VA offices. You will work closely with the project manager and superintendent to plan, track progress, and coordinate with owners to ensure on-time delivery.

This is a management position for those with 5+ years of VDOT or WVDOH experience seeking leadership opportunities.

Qualifications

• Civil engineering fundamentals—structures, survey, drainage, etc.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common software
• Clear verbal and written communication
• Analytical problem solving and data collection
• Strong interpersonal skills and collaboration

Responsibilities

• Assisting and supporting the project team in daily project coordination
• Quality Control
• Document management—RFIs, submittals, change orders, etc.
• Schedule maintenance
• Internal tracking and reporting
• Assisting with monthly financial reporting
• Subcontractor coordination and management
• Material procurement and delivery coordination
• Project safety management
• Participation in key project events (steel erection, deck pours, traffic switches, etc.)
