Job summary

GAF Remote, United States is seeking a Corporate Project Engineer IV to oversee large-scale capital projects as a technical SME. You will drive risk management and provide design oversight while leading cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.

This role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and 10+ years in engineering, preferably in manufacturing or roofing/building products. Travel about 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• 10+ years of engineering experience.
• Manufacturing or roofing/building products preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical authority for the plant's capital portfolio.
• Approve major design deviations and provide high-level solutions.
• Lead critical decision-making with data analysis and risk identification.
• Ensure projects have defined scope, budget, and follow the Project Execution Process.
• Develop and present business cases for large capital projects.
• Manage portfolio with defined scope, schedule and budget.
• Drive high-level continuous improvement across engineering.
• Lead cross-functional teams through the project lifecycle.
• Influence stakeholders up to the executive level.
• Coordinate external engineering resources when needed.
• Mentor the project engineering network.
