Job summary

RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, seeks a Sr. Project Engineer / CAM to support CDS military programs in East Hartford, CT.

Lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets and schedules, and drive monthly earned value reporting to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. Requires a STEM degree and 5 years of engineering experience or 3 years with an advanced degree; familiarity with Agile and PM tools (Smartsheet, SAP, Primavera, MS Project) is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM.
• 5 years of engineering experience or 3 years with an advanced degree.
• Experience with Agile methodology and project management toolsets.

Responsibilities

• Develop & maintain project plans, schedules, resource requirements and budgets for assigned projects.
• Track and present progress reports relating to the project(s) and ensure that targets are met.
• Partner with PMO, CIPTs, and IPTs for scope planning, data needs, monthly deliverables and milestones.
• Identify and manage risks and opportunities; communicate mitigations to stakeholders.
• Support monthly earned value reporting and analysis to identify and resolve obstacles to schedules.
