Senior Project Engineer, CAD – Hybrid
Hybrid position located in Valley City, OH. Requires onsite work 3 days a week.

The Job
You are a passionate and detail‑oriented professional who loves product development. You will be adaptable, creating reusable CAD assets, collaborating with product teams, and engaging in process improvement discussions to enhance CAD/PLM workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Strong parametric 3D CAD skills in CATIA (V5‑6 and/or 3DEXPERIENCE)
- 8+ years of product development experience (preferred)
- Understanding of GD&T methodology and 2D drafting principles
- Experience with PLM systems such as ENOVIA, Windchill, Smart Team, or Teamcenter
- General knowledge of manufacturing processes (injection molding, casting, sheetmetal, etc.)
- Awareness of CAD/PLM industry trends including AI use
- Not eligible for visa sponsorship
Responsibilities
- Support and mentor Valley City CATIA users in efficient creation of new products using CATIA and 3Dx PLM
- Host and document CAD planning meetings with project team members
- Deliver global Tools & Outdoor PLM/CAD communications from EATO to the outdoor community
- Test and provide feedback on CAD/PLM functions and processes
- Use CATIA to create, modify, and review reusable 2D & 3D assets for platform supporting new product development
- Develop component and assembly models to support new product development as required
- Deliver CATIA training (onsite and remote) for new users and specific courses as identified; provide translations as needed
- Provide regular support for end users – support calls
- Provide input, create, or modify documentation to support processes and instructional materials related to CAD/PLM
- Create and review changes in PLM
- Work collaboratively with other EATO team members to complete related tasks as assigned
