Intertek, a global quality and safety solutions provider, seeks a Senior Project Engineer for Building & Construction in York, PA. The role covers building envelope systems, including windows and curtain walls, with responsibilities spanning analyses, client liaison, and project leadership.

Ideal candidates will have a PE or EIT/FE path, 5+ years in building design, and strong code/standard knowledge. Hybrid or remote options may be considered; travel up to 15% may be required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical or similar) or closely related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience in building design and construction.
• PE license or EIT with FE exam; obtain PE licensure within 24 months of hire.
• Strong ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, building codes, standards, test methods, and technical documentation.
• Experience performing engineering analysis and applying engineering principles to building components and systems.
• Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, schedules and client commitments.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within multidisciplinary teams.
• Remote work may be considered; must reside in and be able to legally work in the United States.

Responsabilidades

• Lead building product projects, including project management and leading project teams.
• Research building codes, regulations, product standards, and quality control systems for conformance.
• Develop product test plans based on research findings.
• Communicate with clients on building codes, tests, procedures, results, and audits.
• Perform engineering analysis of test results to assess product performance.
• Create comprehensive reports of product evaluations substantiating conformance with codes and standards.
• Provide supervision and guidance to lower-level engineering staff.
• Represent Intertek in industry associations and codes/standards committees.
