Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a technical project leader to drive complex product development efforts. The role emphasizes structured project leadership, risk reduction, and matrix management to elevate programs beyond status quo.

The candidate will independently lead milestones, mentor engineering staff, and coordinate with systems engineers while maintaining contract requirements and delivery schedules.

Qualifications

• BS degree in a technical discipline such as physical sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
• 5+ years in electronics design, development, or manufacturing of electronics systems.
• PMI PMP certification or ability to obtain company-sponsored PMP within 6 months.
• Strong written and verbal communications; analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to develop proficiency with MS Project within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to and drive completion of program milestone deliverables (IBR, SRR, SDR, PDR, CDR, TRR, QRR, PRR).
• Collaborate with Systems Engineers to incorporate hardware/software requirements, use cases and test procedures.
• Support creation of project documentation: estimates, plans, resource-loaded schedules, specs, interface documents, test procedures.
• Lead risk reduction planning, decision matrices, and secure artifacts in enterprise storage.
• Lead on-site and remote meetings using video conferencing tools; travel 0-10%.
• Perform related engineering tasks as needed.
