Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corp is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead complex engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring technical excellence and timely delivery.

You will mentor junior engineers, provide strategic direction, and interface with high-level stakeholders to drive project success. This role demands extensive technical expertise and advanced project management experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 12+ years in engineering roles with at least 4+ years in a leadership role.
• Must be able to obtain a security clearance.
• Higher level degree may substitute for experience.
• Advanced knowledge of engineering principles.
• Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development team.
• Comprehensive understanding of requirements management, system design, and integration.
• INCOSE certification is preferred.
• Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry.

• Project Leadership Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex engineering projects, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Technical Expertise Provide advanced technical guidance and problem-solving support to project teams.
