Job summary

CT19 in Loveland, CO is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead complex mechanical projects in a technically demanding environment. You will own technical direction from concept through delivery, coordinating cross‑functional teams and ensuring safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in mechanical design, 2+ years in technical leadership, experience with FEA, GD&T, P&IDs, AutoCAD and 3D CAD (Inventor/SolidWorks). Nuclear or hazardous environments experience is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 6+ years of mechanical design experience.
  • At least 2 years of technical leadership experience.
  • Experience designing complex mechanical equipment, machinery or engineered systems.
  • Nuclear, highly regulated or hazardous environment experience would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of engineering calculations including FEA, stress, fatigue and vibration analysis.
  • Understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, P&IDs, EFDs and MFDs.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical fabrication, manufacturing techniques, materials and engineering processes.
  • Experience using AutoCAD and 3D CAD software, such as Inventor, SolidWorks and associated data management systems.
  • Understanding of quality assurance standards such as ISO 9001 and NQA-1.
  • Professional Engineer status, or working towards achieving this, would be beneficial.

Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer looking for the opportunity to lead complex engineering projects in a highly technical and innovative environment?


We are working with a leading engineering and technology organisation specialising in remote handling solutions, specialty engineering and technical services for hazardous environments. The business supports major OEMs and research organisations working at the forefront of advanced clean energy and next-generation nuclear technology.


This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Project Engineer to take technical ownership of complex engineering projects and lead the development of innovative mechanical solutions throughout the full project lifecycle.


The Role

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will provide technical leadership and support the development of engineering solutions from concept through to delivery.

What We're Looking For
