An innovative engineering organisation operating in a highly regulated, advanced technology environment is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer (ASME Tank & Piping) to join its Auxiliary Systems Engineering team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a senior mechanical engineer to take ownership of critical plant systems from design through installation, testing and commissioning, working alongside multidisciplinary engineering, procurement and construction teams on complex industrial projects.
As the Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for the engineering ownership of a range of auxiliary mechanical systems, including:
You will oversee the engineering lifecycle of these systems, ensuring designs meet applicable codes and quality requirements while supporting procurement, fabrication, installation and commissioning activities.
You will be an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in industrial process piping and mechanical systems, ideally gained within highly regulated industries such as nuclear, energy, pharmaceuticals or other complex process environments.
Experience in several of the following areas is highly desirable:
Experience with fire protection systems, including familiarity with NFPA 801, would be advantageous.
