Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial, manufacturing, mechanical, electrical, systems, quality engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing engineering, industrial project work, quality engineering, or systems engineering; leadership experience is a plus.
• Proven ownership of complex full-cycle capital projects.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing.
• Experience maintaining or improving an ISO-based quality system.
• Hands-on work with ERP/MRP platforms, quality systems, manufacturing data tools, and automation technologies.
• Experience directing contractors and vendors.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma; PMP, Green/Black Belt a plus.
• Credentials such as CQE/CMQ/OE/CMfgE, or ISO 9001 Lead Auditor are a plus.
• Strong project-financial, analytical, communication, and drawing/spec interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Build scopes, timelines, budgets, resource plans, risk reviews, ROI cases, and keep stakeholders informed.
• Direct facility expansions, equipment installs, line changes, automation work, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Manage contractors, equipment makers, and outside engineering partners while prioritizing safety and regulatory standards.
• Improve plant processes for safety, quality, throughput, capacity, flow, and cost using production data to find constraints and issues.
• Drive equipment optimization, process standardization, automation, and technology integration.
• Lead Lean, Six Sigma, and other structured improvement work that removes waste, adds capacity, and lowers operating cost.
• Strengthen routings, bills of material, work instructions, quality documentation, and operational reporting systems including ERP/MRP.
• Coach engineering staff, set priorities, and balance project load against daily production needs.
• Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, and IT on reliability, uptime, data integrity, and long-term capacity planning.

• Proven ownership of complex full-cycle capital projects
• Experience in Industrial manufacturing strongly preferred.
• Experience maintaining or improving an ISO-based quality system preferred.
• Hands-on work with ERP/MRP platforms, quality systems, manufacturing data tools, and automation technologies.
• Experience directing contractors and vendors.
• Working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, process capability. PMP, Green/Black Belt a plus
• CQE/CMQ/OE/CMfgE, or ISO 9001 Lead Auditor credentials are a plus.
