Job summary

HNTB Corporation is seeking a Project Director to serve as the DelDOT Client Service Leader, responsible for delivering one or more mega ($5M+) and/or super mega ($25M+) projects and for developing long-term client relationships. The role requires managing contracting, controls, quality, risk, and change management using HNTB's SDA approach.

The position also acts as the primary client liaison across multiple projects, guiding staffing, pursuing new opportunities, and leading proposal efforts

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field and 12 years of relevant experience including 4 years managing mega/super mega projects.
• DelDOT experience is preferred.
• Master's degree is preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) and PMP certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and nurture key client relationships; serve as primary company contact on assigned projects.
• Manage financial performance: cash, budget, schedule, and project scope to meet goals.
• Staff projects: recruit, hire, develop, retain, and appraise project staff and report on staffing.
• Lead pursuits of mega/super mega projects and develop long-term client strategies.
• Deliver projects using SDA and oversee project controls, risk, and change management.
