Job summary

HNTB Corporation in Arlington, VA seeks a Sr Project Director to lead development and execution of the project management plan for one or more mega and super mega projects ($25M+). You will manage client relationships, project controls, budgeting, scheduling and staffing, while guiding staff and mentoring teams toward project objectives.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 12 years of experience, including 6 years delivering large-scale projects; PE certification is preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
12 years of relevant experience including at least 6 years delivering mega/super mega projects.
Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Develops and nurtures key client relationships; serves as primary company contact on assigned projects.
Manages financial performance, budget, cash flow and scope to meet project goals.
Staffing: recruitment, hiring, development, retention and performance reviews.
Leads pursuits of mega and super mega projects and coordinates with pursuit teams for proposals and presentations.
Oversees project staffing and resources; collaborates with leadership to staff projects per the Work Plan.
